Caring for your mat

The mats can be easily cleaned with water, or soapy water. They are compatible with household cleaners. If using bleach dilute the solution to 1/10. Use washable children's paints and pigments where possible. Apply light pressure to remove remaining pigment from the texture. In the case of glue or varnish wait until dry and peel away.

Mats may have some slight creases due to being folded for transportation, these will fade once laid flat or hung for a few hours.

The following is likely to damage your mat and is not covered by the 2 year guarantee:

sharp objects, such as knives, used directly on your mat
excess point-loads such as thin narrow heels or narrow chair legs upon them. Use pads on chair legs where possible.
Sharp edged objects falling from a height may damage the mat
Do not use super glue on your mat. Wood and craft/ paper glue is however compatible.
In the case of small rips due to exposure to sharp objects use a glue to repair. Silicone-based products such as silicone glue are also suitable for localised repairs.
Wait until mat has dried off before laying on the table or floor.
