It all started in 1985 in LA, on the kitchen table of Meridith or Meri Meri, like her loved ones called her when she was little. With a piece of paper in her hands, scissors, pens, lots of glitter and endless imagination she created her own cards. “I’ve always loved the process of coming up with an idea and bringing it to life. Imagination is freedom”, Meredithe Stuart-Smith, founder and president of Meri Meri.

At the beginning, her glittery products were sold in local stationery shops in Los Angeles. Her career took off after her participation at the National Stationery Show in New York in 1987. Currently, the creative Meri Meri team, which sits in Cheltenham in the UK and consists of designers, illustrators and crafters, is creating unique products with imagination, charm and of course tons of glitter. Behind each product hides a unique idea, which leads to creations as good as perfect. The Meri Meri brand includes stationery products, party items, children accessories and toys, decoration ideas for children’s room and everything that can turn seasonal holidays like Halloween, Christmas or Easter more magic.
