Payment, delivery and return policy

 

6.       Payment

In the online shop of Inspiration Tales, www.inspirationtales.ch, it is only possible to pay in Swiss Francs (CHF) and the following payment options are available:

  • MASTERCARD (debit and credit cards)

  • VISA (debit and credit cards)

  • American express

  • Apple pay

  • Paypal

Pre-payment (Bank transfer) is also available but it needs to be confirmed beforehand by inspiration tales via email or telephone.

All credit card payments are processed via Stripe. The Client needs to enter his/her personal information, delivery and shipping address, credit card details and shipping preference before confirming the purchase. For the case of payment via PayPal, the Client receives a guide to the payment process during his order. With the use of the PayPal service, the payment data is entered upon first registration. Thereafter, payments will proceed by the Client’s Paypal login details (email address and password). All data communication is processed via an SSL protocol using the latest encryption techniques. Stock items are shipped the next possible date. For articles not in stock, the Client will be informed as soon as possible on the expected date of delivery via e-mail.

For the case of payment via Pre-payment, once the full amount has been successfully transferred to Inspiration Tales a confirmation e-mail with an estimate of the shipping date will be sent to the Client. Goods will be reserved for ten days upon Client’s written confirmation (e.g. email). If a payment of the full amount is not received, even after a second notice, within another four working days, the order will be cancelled without any delivery obligation for Inspiration Tales. Transaction costs, if any, are to be taken care of by the Client.

Payment via Invoice (and bank transfer within 30 days from transfer of risk) is not available at the moment.

Pre-payments in EUR are possible only under prior written agreement between the Client and Inspiration Tales (e.g. via Email). For Pre-payments in EUR the Client needs to contact Inspiration Tales in order to obtain the necessary Bank Account information and the Currency Exchange.

7.       Shipping and delivery costs

The goods shall be shipped by a transport supplier chosen by Inspiration Tales. Unless otherwise specified delivery terms are DAP (delivered at place) at the Client’s indicated delivery address (Incoterms 2020). Therefore, for international deliveries outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein any VAT, import duties or customs administration costs arising from importation of the goods is responsibility of the Client.

The shipping costs are indicated under the heading "shopping cart" and are subject to the Client's approval before validation of each order; the costs may vary depending on the weight and size of the package and its destination.

Inspiration Tales is not responsible for any assembling or disposal services.

The delivery times indicated on the website are of informative nature only. Inspiration Tales shall inform the Client in case of delay, but will not be held liable in any respect.

In case of temporary unavailability of the product for more than six weeks, the Client shall be informed by Inspiration Tales immediately regarding possible alternative products or reimbursement of the purchase price.

All the products in the online shop are available in commercial quantities. In case of larger requested volumes, a longer delivery time will be applicable and discussed upon explicit request to Inspiration Tales.

Inspiration Tales delivers to Clients in Switzerland, Lichtenstein and most countries internationally. Deliveries to countries not listed during the checkout process shall be discussed individually prior to any commercial agreements. Unless otherwise agreed prior to the purchase, any additional costs incurred due to transportation, customs or foreign VAT shall be directly charged to the Client.

In case of large orders and a total weight of delivery above 30 kg, Inspiration Tales reserves the right to organize the shipment in separate deliveries. The Client shall be informed immediately in such an event.

The cost for shipping is defined during the checkout process. Two options are available: standard deliveries and priority deliveries for Switzerland/Liechtenstein and standard deliveries for other countries. The total cost is automatically calculated during the checkout process depending on the weight of the individual items and the final destination.

As a rule, shipments are organized by the Swiss Post for domestic and international deliveries. For orders within Switzerland and Liechtenstein above 150 CHF, a discount of 9 CHF is applied during check out, which corresponds to the standard shipping cost for delivery in Switzerland and Lichtenstein for small and medium parcels. Typical delivery time for standard deliveries in Switzerland and Liechtenstein is 4 days from order confirmation and 2 days for priority deliveries. For deliveries in the European countries, the delivery time varies per country with a typical minimum of 5 and a typical maximum of 14. Please note that deliveries outside the European Free Trade Association will typically take more time to deliver.

The delivery times serve as information only and are under no circumstances a guarantee. Inspiration Tales cannot be held liable in case of a delivery time beyond the above values.

8.       Receipt of the goods and duty to verify

The Client shall acknowledge receipt of the delivery by signing the delivery slip provided by the transport supplier.

The Client has the duty to verify without delay the goods received and inform Inspiration Tales within a maximum of three working days of any defect for which Inspiration Tales can be held responsible. Failure to comply with the foregoing, entails acceptance of the goods, except where the defects could not be identified by usual verification means. Any defect discovered at a later stage needs to be notified without delay to Inspiration Tales otherwise the goods are deemed accepted, even with such defect.

If, upon delivery, the package is in bad conditions or show deterioration, the Client (or the recipient of the goods) will open the package in the presence of the shipper to verify the good condition of the goods and will indicate "under reserve" on the delivery slip. If the Client (or the recipient of the goods) notices that the goods have been damaged during the shipping, the Client can refuse the delivery of the damaged goods and indicate "refused / damaged" on the delivery slip. The Client shall, to the extent possible, take pictures of the damaged goods and/or packages.

In the case of damage due to the shipping, a substantiated claim must be sent to inspiration tales within three days from the delivery.

9.       Warranty

Inspiration Tales' warranty is limited to the return and exchange of the goods or reimbursement of the purchase price, subject to the conditions set forth in Article 8 hereof and the paragraph below.

The Client cannot return the goods to Inspiration Tales without any further formality. To return a product, the Client must contact Inspiration Tales by email at inspiration@inspirationtales.ch with indication of the order number, the concerned products and the reason for a return.

Inspiration Tales has the right to refuse a return if it has not been contacted in advance.

Any product shall be returned within 14 days in perfect condition and in the original packaging. The product shall not have been used by the Client already nor have suffered any damage attributable to the Client. The Client is liable to pay the return postage costs, unless otherwise agreed as per Art. 8 and 9.

Except from a right of return are products with reduced price or Client customized products (e.g. specific choice of colours or with a special marking). Orders including such products can be cancelled up to seven days upon order receipt. Such products may not be returned upon receiving of the goods.
