Carmen suspension lamp small - Hartô
Carmen suspension lamp small - Hartô
Hartô design
Artist: PaulinePlusLuis Studio
Carmen and its pleated skirt make heads turn on the red carpet. Pauline and Luis have designed, in collaboration with HARTÔ, this pendent light with a dancer in mind. Indeed, the graphic lines of its skirt are repeated and bring movement and rhythm to the space it is located.
When Carmen comes on stage, it doesn't go unnoticed. Enhanced by its luminous disc, "Carmen" was born out of an experimental handling of the textile material and conceived as the tutu of a ballerina.

PaulinePlusLuis Studio
PaulinePlusLuis is a Brussels design studio, created by Pauline Capdo and Luis Bellenger in 2015. With Carmen, HARTÔ takes height. The Belgian studio thought for the French publisher this suspension as a dancer.
Their eclectic career, at once artisanal, artistic and industrial, has built their approach to design halfway between experimentation and industry. Their work is based on the observation of objects, phenomena, moments, which they reinterpret and divert. They are inspired by the codes and forms already present in our environment, in order to assemble them and to transcribe them into their objects. Through this process, their objects provoke an impression of déjà-vu, evoke stories and moments, and thus bring a poetic dimension to the industrial realization.
